God is never content with our status quo. He is always working within us to conform us to the image of Christ Jesus and to help us grow up in our faith.
Real growth comes not in merely understanding God's word, as important as that is, but in applying God's word to real life situations and circumstances. The Bible challenges us to be doer of God's word and not hearers only.
While God's word is universal and applicable to all people in all ages, it is also highly individual and personal. Therefore based on this premise, having looked back to a time during my teen years that I meet a young man in Abundant Life Ministries who made it easy to connect, not only to himself but to the other youths that were there at that time in the said ministry.
This connection prospered into a wonderful friendship even to this time of our lives, now we are much older and have families and ministries of our own. Reflecting on the numerous years we worked together in ministry, fellowship, fights, and had great fun will always be cherish, in fact it brought laughter in my heart. It is with a great amount of understanding that what I have seen through the years of a person I consider to be a lifelong friend in no other person than the person we call and respect as Reverend Carl Ramlal, Pastor of Tunapuna Abundant Life Ministries who I have seen the development of the making of a great leader in the Kingdom of God. This man has been through the mill, the furnace and the olive press in ministry but stayed the course in which he allows the Holy Spirit to work through him and give the directives for his life. Pastor Carl loves The Lord, he has proven that by the commitment he has made to love God, his family, the congregation he's Pastoring and most of all the love for humanity. God's word declares when we're tried by fire we will come out as pure as gold, as a result there will be qualities and attitudes that will emulate out that life that brings glory to God. And as such there're wonderful and sterling qualities and characteristics that Lord is seeing coming forth in such a life as Pastor Carl as he journey in fulfilling his purpose in life.
Also I thank God for blessing him truly with a wonderful wife, Pastor Sharmilla, who has brought greater significance to his life and ministry, with her gifting-talents and skills, and love for God and his people they have become truly a great team that champion the cause of the Kingdom Of God. I have seen over the years the placement, sacrifice, loyalty, growth, balance and teamwork in their life and ministry that brought them thus far and when these ingredients continue to be prevalent on their journey as they navigate through the rough seas of life and ministry there will be guaranteed success. Therefore it is with love , great admiration and commendation that I bless their lives to continue to fight the good fight of faith and to champion the cause of the King of Kings on the Earth and on that day they will hear the significant voice of our Heavenly Father say well done my good and faithful servants.
