Life is not about coincidence or good luck. It is about God’s Plan. In 2010 I thought that it was just my good luck that Savi Ramlal was assigned to work as my Judicial Support Officer when I was transferred to the Criminal Division of the High Court. Savi enjoyed the best reputation of being one of the most efficient JSOs ( as we called them). It was no coincidence. It was no luck. It was God’s Plan.
I have worked with Savi Ramlal from August 2010 until January, 2014 when I left Trinidad and Tobago to take up my current position as trial Judge at the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Working with Savi Ramlal has been a Blessing. Savi Ramlal is the consummate professional who has not only always demonstrated her fullest commitment to whatever she is working on, she also delivers excellent results. This efficiency and commitment has in no small measure contributed to my own success.
Working as part of a team (each Judge has a support team), Savi as we called her, was always the one to organise and celebrate occasions and arrange support for those who encountered challenges. She delighted in being there not only for the happy times ; she was there in support of the difficult times.
I learned that Savi was the First Lady at Tunapuna Abundant Ministries and then I understood! Savi strives to Honour and Glorify God. It has been a true Blessing working with the First Lady, Tunapuna Abundant Life Ministries.
