Pastor Savi Sharmilla Ramlal
Savi Sharmilla Ramlal, First Lady of Tunapuna Abundant Life Ministries, was saved in 1989 through the Inter-School Christian Fellowship at St. Augustine Senior Comprehensive School.
Being brought up as a child under another religious denomination, her early nurturing as a Christian, she gives honour and glory to God for placing Minister Basil and Farida MiCalla into her life, who weekly conducted prayer meetings at her home with her mother, her sister and herself.
With the guidance and direction of the Lord Jesus Christ, Lady Ramlal 1989 started fellowshipping at the then Abundant Life Ministries at Barataria. There she served as Treasurer, Sunday-School Teacher, Youth Director and Secretary of the organization for a period of time. In 2002, upon the ordination of her husband Reverend Carl Ramlal to Pastor of this ministry, she has been faithfully and loyally serving at his side. She demonstrated great love for teaching and has taught young children, young adults and now the adult class at the Tunapuna Abundant Life Ministries. Apart from teaching she also assists with the administration of the church.
Lady Ramlal has also been employed at the Judiciary of Trinidad and Tobago for the past 20 years. Currently, she is a Judicial Support Officer at the Judiciary.
Reverend Ramlal and Lady Ramlal were married in 1996 and have had four (4) children, Abigail, Josiah, Amanda and Amy.
Lady Ramlal is known for her patience, hospitality and the love she demonstrates to any and everyone.
Her favourite scripture is 1 Peter 5:7: Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.
Her personal goal is to serve as a professional and fulltime Family Counselor.
